    @fuzzysae86 I did not. I soda blasted and primed as original. I was trying to keep the car as original as possible with the limitation of not being able to reproduce some of the processes no longer available. I will have more restoration videos coming this all on general topics I hope you subscribe so you can see them.

    @chagall56 There are good platers in most areas, but you need to know what you want. Not all platers do all kinds of work. Some do a great job on bumpers, some do pot metal restoration, others use a variety of techniques (like tri vs hex chrome) that yeilds a slightly different finish. Ask a lot of questions and ask to see some of their work. People in your area may know businesses with a good reputation.
